HOUSTON, Texas – Pack concludes first day of the Mountain West Championships following the 200 medley relay, 1-meter springboard, 800 freestyle relay. Nevada currently sits in third place with 151 points, behind San Diego State with 182 and one point behind Wyoming with 152.
Nevada divers continue to show dominance in the conference finishing the 1-meter springboard, with two divers placing in the top eight.
Melissa Mirafuentes finished in fourth place with a score of 315.90 and
Lucia Gabino finished fifth with 314.40 points.
Madison Simons came in 25
th place with 210.40, and
Dani Griffin rounded out the Pack finishing 26
th place with a score of 194.30.
The Pack kicked off the swim finals with the 200 medley relay. The squad composed of
Scarlett Ferris,
Sara Mihalic,
Yasmin Perry, and
Evie Floate finished third, with a time of 1:38.52, the second best time in program history, and 0.09 seconds shy of the all-time best program time.
Nevada finished the first day of evening finals with the 800 freestyle relay in seventh.

Olivia Stevenson,
Sara Mihalic, and
Audrey Bull finished with a time of 7:25.56.
