RENO, Nev. - It may be Championship Week for Nevada Swimming & Diving and Women's Indoor Track & Field, but behind the shine of medals and trophies, the Wolf Pack baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis will be hard at work in their non-conference slates.

The Wolf Pack (2-1), fresh off of a season-opening series win at UC Riverside, heads to the Bay Area for a three-game set at San Francisco (3-1). Shortstop Justin Acal was named Mountain West Player of the Week Monday after slashing .545/.615/1.364 with two homers and six RBIs, while junior righty Jason Doktorczyk picked up the opening day win with eight strikeouts and just two runs allowed over 5.2 innings.

Nevada Softball (8-3) looks to continue its strong start to 2024 as it heads to Stockton for five games at the Libby Matson Tournament, hosted by Pacific. The Wolf Pack plays two games on both Friday and Saturday, with its weekend finale Sunday at noon against the host Tigers. Sunday's contest will be streamed live on ESPN+.

MEN'S TENNIS
Nevada Men's Tennis (1-5) is traveling to Arizona looking to turn their season around following a 0-2 weekend in Utah. The bright spot in the Pack's week came from Rémy Trégourès being named Mountain West Freshman of the Week following his singles win at Utah. Nevada will play guest to #22 Arizona State, Friday morning, followed by a short trip to GCU, Saturday morning.

WOMEN'S TENNIS
Nevada Women's Tennis (1-1) returns to play, traveling to the Bay Area, following a bye week in their non-conference schedule. The last time out, Kennedy Robinson swept her doubles slate, crowning her the Mountain West Freshman of the Week. The Wolf Pack's weekend begins in Santa Clara, taking on the Broncos at 11 a.m. The short trip concludes in Moraga visiting the Saint Mary's Gaels at 10 a.m.
