SANTA CLARA, Calif. – A late five-run inning from Seattle downs the Pack in the final game of the Silicon Valley Classic.
 
Game Notables:

• Haley Painter extends her on-base streak to 24 games with a single in the first inning.
• Gabby Herrera extends hit streak (11) and on-base streak (12), the longest streaks of her career.
• Chelie Senini extends hit streak (13) and on-base streak (15). 

The Pack got the scoring started in the top of the second with Aaliyah Jenkins scoring on an RBI groundout by Madison Clark.
 
In the top of the third, Gabby Herrera doubled to left field scoring Bridgette Gilliano. The Pack loaded the bases but a double play ended the inning. In the bottom, Seattle U cut the lead in half with an RBI single to right field.
 
Taryn Jenkins hit her sixth home run of the season in the top of the fifth, extending Nevada's lead 3-1.
 
Tyra Clary came into the game in the fifth. Clary gave up the tying and go-ahead runs in the bottom of the sixth giving up four singles and five RBI, giving Seattle the 6-3 win.
 
Carley Brown was the starter for the Pack, retiring the first six batters she faced in order. Brown went 5.2 innings, struck out four and allowed two runs on six hits.
 
Clary (1-2) finished the game going 0.1 innings, walking three, and allowing four runs on four hits.
 
Up Next:
The Pack continues tournament play next week at the Libby Matson Tournament hosted by the University of Pacific with the first game Friday, Feb. 23 at 10 A.M. against Stony Brook.
