  • Chelie Senini continues her hit streak with eight games.
  • Senini had a three-hit game, moving into seventh all-time in career hits (194).
  • Haley Painter continues her on base streak, reaching base in 19 consecutive games.
  • Painter had her second multi home run game of her career.
  • Every starter reached base at least once in the game.
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Haley Painter has her second multi home run career game of her career, putting the Pack on top, 12-5, in the first game of the Silicon Valley Classic I.
 
The Broncos opened the scoring in the bottom of the first with a double steal, putting the Broncos up 1-0.
 
The Pack got their first baserunner of the game with a leadoff walk by Taryn Jenkins in the top of the second, but was caught stealing at second following Herrera's strikeout. Aaliyah Jenkins got the Pack's first hit of the game in the second but was left on base.
 
Maile Olsen's leadoff single puts her on base with Chelie Senini up. Senini's infield single advances Olsen and she scores on a pitching error tying the game at 1-1. Haley Painter hits her second home run of the season putting the Pack on top 3-1. Taryn Jenkins reaches on a fielding error by the Broncos shortstop bringing Gabby Herrera to the plate. Herrera doubles to left center and T. Jenkins scores. A. Jenkins triples to right center, the first triple of the season and A. Jenkins first extra-base hit this season. The Pack ends the top of the third on top, 5-1.
 
The Broncos rally back in the bottom of the inning with a three-run home run narrowing the lead to 5-4.
 
Charli Hawkins opened the fourth inning with a double. Bailie Clark comes in as a courtesy runner for Hawkins and advances to third on Olsen's sacrifice bunt. B. Clark scored on an error from the left fielder, extending the lead to 6-4. Painter's second home run of the game is a two-run shot to left field. This is Painter's second multi home run game of her career, her first one coming last season against Stony Brook on March 3. Bridgette Gilliano hits a single to left and advances to second on a T. Jenkins hit by pitch. After a double steal, Herrera singles to center field and brings home Gilliano and T. Jenkins, extending the lead 10-4.
 
Bailie Clark gets her first career on base with a leadoff walk and her sister, Madison Clark brings her home on an RBI triple. Senini singles up the middle and steals second. Gilliano singles to left field, advances to second on a throw and Senini scores, heading into the fifth 12-4.
 
The Broncos score on an RBI single to extend the game into the sixth, 12-5.
 
Carley Brown got the start in the circle. Brown went five innings, striking out three, walking one, and allowing three earned runs on six hits.
 
Tyra Clary came in for the Pack in the sixth inning. Clary retired the final three batters she faced to end the game, going two innings striking out one, allowing no runs on one hit.
