SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Nevada victorious in day two of the Silicon Valley Classic I, defeating Portland State, 7-1 and Fordham, 6-1.

Game Notables:
- Haley Painter reached base in both games, bringing her on-base streak to 21 consecutive games.
- Blake Craft records a career-high 10 strikeouts. Craft was the first individual player to strike out 10 batters since
- Chelie Senini recorded a hit in both games, bringing her hit streak to 10 games.

Portland State (W, 7-1)
Chelie Senini recorded her first triple of the season in the top of the third.
Haley Painter doubled in the next at-bat, plating Senini to lift the Pack 1-0. The Pack loaded the bases walking
Taryn Jenkins and
Gabby Herrera hit a sac fly to bring home Painter and extend the lead, 2-0.

Portland State cut the lead in half with an RBI single in the bottom of the fourth.

Haley Painter hit her third home run of the tournament in the top of the fifth, making it 3-1.

The Pack tacked on four more runs in the top of the sixth. The Pack loaded the bases with a walk and a pair of singles. Portland State walked in a run followed by an RBI single by T. Jenkins and Senini scoring on a wild pitch.
Gabby Herrera singled through the left side and T. Jenkins scored bringing in the seventh run of the game.

Blake Craft got the start for the Pack's first game of the day. Craft had a dominant start striking out the first four batters she faced. Craft went on to strikeout a career high 10 batters. Craft threw a complete game with one walk, and one earned run on three hits.

Fordham (W, 6-1)
Carley Brown got the start in the Pack's second game of the doubleheader. Brown gave up a solo home run in the first, the only run allowed in the game. Brown went on to pitch a complete game with three strikeouts, no walks, and one run on five hits.

The Pack got the scoring started in the bottom of the second with an RBI double by

Taryn Jenkins, tying the game at one run a piece.

In the third inning, T. Jenkins had a two RBI double to center field, scoring Painter and Senini for the lead. Herrera added another RBI double scoring T. Jenkins, extending the lead three.

In the bottom of the fifth, Herrera singled to center field scoring Gilliano making it 5-1.

The Pack added their final run of the day with an RBI single plating
Matlyn Leetch, 6-1.

The Pack continues play in the Silicon Valley Classic I tomorrow facing Fordham and Portland State with first pitch at 10 a.m. and second game starting half an hour following the conclusion of the first game.
