Iron Wolf of Nevada Basketball - Tré Coleman

Reno, Nev. - Tré Coleman has etched his name in the Nevada Wolf Pack record books, becoming the program's all-time leader in games played with 136 appearances. His historic achievement came during the game against Colorado State, where he surpassed the previous record of 135 games held jointly by Wolf Pack legends Dario Hunt (2009-2012) and D.J. Fenner (2014-2017).

Coleman's record-breaking feat is a reflection of his remarkable durability, work ethic, and consistency throughout his career. His ability to stay healthy and available for his team over multiple seasons speaks volumes about his commitment to the program and his teammates.

In an era where player movement and injuries often interrupt careers, Coleman's achievement is a rare milestone. He has been a dependable presence for Nevada through the ever-evolving landscape of college basketball.

Coleman's journey began as a promising freshman, where he quickly earned playing time with his defensive prowess and versatility. Over the years, he developed into a cornerstone player, often tasked with guarding the opposing team's best scorer. While his contributions may not always fill the stat sheet, his impact on the game goes far beyond numbers.

Through his 136 games, Coleman has experienced the highs and lows of college basketball: thrilling victories, heartbreaking losses, and two NCAA Tournament appearances. His perseverance and steady leadership have made him a respected figure in the Wolf Pack locker room and among fans.

By surpassing Hunt and Fenner, Coleman joins an elite group of Nevada basketball greats. Dario Hunt, known for his dominance in the paint, remains the program's all-time leader in blocks and a key figure during his tenure. D.J. Fenner, a dynamic scorer and leader, was instrumental in the program's resurgence under head coach Eric Musselman. Coleman's record is a testament to his ability to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with these Wolf Pack icons.

Tré Coleman's place in Nevada basketball history is now secured. His record for most games played stands as a symbol of his unwavering commitment to the Wolf Pack. While records are eventually broken, Coleman's achievement will serve as an inspiration for future generations of Nevada players.

As the season continues, Coleman's focus remains on helping the team achieve its goals. But for now, his accomplishment deserves to be celebrated as a shining example of what it means to embody the spirit of Nevada basketball.

Congratulations, Tré Coleman, the Iron Wolf of Nevada Basketball!
