Nevada Men’s Basketball 2024-25 Schedule Game-time Release

RENO, Nev. -The Nevada Wolf Pack is ready to hit the court for the 2024-25 season, and the full schedule is officially here! The journey begins with a home opener at Lawlor Events Center against Sam Houston State (Nov. 4, 7:00 p.m.). Over the course of eleven non-conference matchups, the Pack will play seven home games and make an essential appearance at the 2024 Shriners Children's Charleston Classic in South Carolina.

Some of the other biggest early-season showdowns at Lawlor include matchups with Washington (Nov. 9, 7:00 p.m.), Weber State (Nov. 13, 7:00 p.m.), and Santa Clara (Nov. 16, 7:00 p.m.). The Wolf Pack then has a total of three games in a neutral setting at the Charleston Classic. In the Charleston Classic, the Pack kicks things off Nov. 21 at 4.30 p.m. against Vanderbilt, with potential matchups against other top programs like Drake, Florida Atlantic, Miami, Oklahoma State, Seton Hall, and VCU. The following two games of the Charleston Classic for the Wolf Pack are TBA. This offers Nevada a prime opportunity to notch high-quality wins in a neutral setting before heading into Mountain West Conference play.  The Wolf Pack will continue their non-conference battles with a critical game at home against Washington State (Dec. 2, 7:00 p.m.). The Wolf Pack's first actual road game will be in Los Angeles, California, against Loyola Marymount University at 6:00 p.m. The Wolf Pack ended the non-conference schedule with two home games at Lawlor Event Center against South Dakota State (Dec. 11, 7:00 p.m.) and Texas Southern (Dec. 14, 7:00 p.m.).

This season brings a new challenge with the Mountain West's 20-game double round-robin schedule, marking the first time every team will face each other twice. Conference play opens at home on Dec. 21 at 2:00 p.m. against Colorado State, with additional pre-New Year games on the road at Wyoming (Dec. 28, 1:00 p.m.) and home against Utah State (Dec. 31, 7:00 p.m.).

January features tough matchups, including road games against New Mexico (Jan. 3, 8:00 p.m.) and Fresno State (Jan. 11, 4:00 p.m.). Key home battles with the Air Force (Jan. 14, 7:00 p.m.) and San José State (Jan. 18, 3:00 p.m.) follow these. The month wraps up with games against Utah State (Jan. 22, 6:00 p.m.) and San Diego State (Jan. 25, 7:00 p.m.) and a key road game to Boise State (Jan. 29, 7:00 p.m.).

February starts with the first Silver State Series matchup against UNLV, scheduled for Feb. 1 at 8:00 p.m. in the Lawlor Event Center. This is the first time UNLV will play at Lawlor first for conference play in three years. The Pack will then travel to Air Force (Feb. 4, 6:00 p.m.) and host Fresno State (Feb. 10, 8:00 p.m.), followed by road games at San José State (Feb. 14, 7:00 p.m.) and Colorado State (Feb. 18, 6:00 p.m.).

Heading into March, the final stretch includes home games against Boise State (Feb. 22, 3:00 p.m.) and Wyoming (Feb. 25, 7:00 p.m.), leading up to another showdown with UNLV in Las Vegas (Mar. 1, 8:00 p.m.). Senior Day at Lawlor is set for an awaited matchup against New Mexico (Mar. 4, 6:00 p.m.), with the regular season closing at San Diego State in Viejas Arena (Mar. 8, 7:30 p.m.).

Following a 26-8 record last season and back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances, the Wolf Pack are determined to make another deep run. With an influx of new talent and a packed schedule, the team is laser-focused on competing for the Mountain West title and securing a third-straight NCAA Tournament berth.
