RENO, Nev. - Nevada women's basketball opened up the Nugget Classic on Friday to Central Michigan, dropping the game with a final of 60-57.

Kennedy Lee recorded a double-double for the Pack, leading the team in rebounds with 10 and putting up 13 points. Izzy Sullivan led in scoring with 15, going 4-4 from the line and shooting 3-7 from beyond the arc.

Nevada ended the first quarter with a 13-11 lead after coming from behind and the game being tied up twice. The second 10 opened up with a good layup by Lee, before the Pack were playing from behind again. They ultimately were trailing, 26-21, heading into the break. 

The Wolf Pack began their comeback push after a tough third quarter where they went down by as much as 11 at one point. 

Trailing 47-38 heading into the final 10, Nevada came all the way back to bring it within one with three seconds remaining in the game. Despite holding Central Michign to no field goals in the fourth quarter, Nevada's comeback efforts fell short.

Day two of the Nugget Classic will take place tomorrow at 1 PM, with Nevada hosting Southern Utah.
