RENO, Nev. - Nevada Soccer hosted Colorado College on Senior Day, shutting out the Tigers with a final score of 5-0.

With the five goals in the match, Nevada tied its program record for the second most in a game. It is the most goals scored in a match by the Wolf Pack since 2009. 

In the 4th minute, Emily Rich delivered a ball across the box to Olivia Loomis who launched it over the goalie to give the Wolf Pack a 1-0 lead. The goal made it Loomis' fifth of the season. In the 34th minute, Caly Ah Soon delivered a long ball to Emily Rich, who headed it past the goalie to gain control and kick it into the bottom right of the goal for a Nevada score. 

The second half was an even stronger 45 for the Wolf Pack, tacking on three more goals to the already 2-0 lead.

Rich got her second of the game in the 54th minute, placing the ball into the bottom center of the goal, assisted by Lauren Muff and Cassidy Bell. Less than 10 minutes later, Bell got in on the scoring action with a goal of her own, assisted by Penny Murphy and Rylee Husted. In the 81st minute, Rich delivered a perfect ball to Trinity Sandridge who found the back of the next to put Nevada up, 5-0. 

Defensively, the Wolf Pack barely even allowed the Tigers to gain possession of the ball, only allowing them to get off two shots on goal for the entire game. overall, Nevada out shot its opponent, 20-12.

Nevada will head back out on the road to face San Jose State on October 10 at 4:30 PM.
