RENO, Nev. - In its final home game of the regular season, Nevada put up an impressive battle with Utah State, tying with the Aggies, 2-2.

The first half of play was even as the defense was strong and neither team scored. However, the second half is where all action occurred. Nevada was down twice, but scored two goals to keep the game up for grabs. 

In the early minutes of the second, Nevada was playing from behind as Utah State connected to go up 1-0. Cassidy Bell had a chance to tie it up in the 50th minute with a header, but it went over the goal. 

The Wolf Pack had another promising opportunity as Trinity Sandridge was making a run, but she was just a half step short. The Utah State goalie came out and grabbed the ball before Sandridge could tie it up. 

Into the 62nd minute of play, Eva Wees coraled a ricocheted ball that was shot by Sandridge, to find the back of the net and even up the game at one. 

Nevada held on for as long as it could, but Utah State took the lead again in the 79th minute. 

Despite being down, the Wolf Pack answered back yet again. With Emily Rich breaking free down the side, she crossed it into the middle for Serene Gronauer, who put it in for the goal.

Nevada held on to take the tie and will face off with UNLV on October 31st at 7 PM.
