Box Score LAS VEGAS – The Nevada Wolf Pack saw another deep tournament run from their top duo pair,
Youssef Kadiri and
Lucas Hammond. The senior duo made their third straight semifinal appearance, remaining a perfect three-for-three in draw formats. En route to the semifinal, Hammond and Kadiri took down BYU's 11
th-ranked pairing.

Seeded 10
th, Hammond and Kadiri received a first-round bye before matching up against Weber State's William Zulch and Tristan Sarap in the round of 32 for their first of many length bouts. Hammond and Kadiri defeated Zulch and Sarap in a long tiebreaker, 8-7 (7).

In the third round, the Pack faced off against familiar foes in UNLV's Roberto Hernandez and Illia Maksymchuck. The Nevada pair won their second matchup in as many weeks over the Rebels, 8-4.

The Pack's quarterfinal match pinned Hammond and Kadiri against the top-seeded and 11
th ranked-nationally duo from BYU, Wally Thayne and Zach Fuchs. The Wolf Pack down the top-15 opponent, prevailing in another deep tiebreaker, defeating the Cougars 8-7 (5).

The run came to a close in the semifinal in a heartbreaking defeat. Idaho State's Valentino De Pellegrin and Victor Sklenka managed a key break over Hammond and Kadiri, winning the first set 6-4. Nevada battled back in the second set, winning their third set-tiebreaker of the tournament, 7-6 (6). A one-game tiebreaker decided the match, ending in a grueling 15-13 defeat for the Pack. The loss left the Pack two victories shy of a NCAA Individual Championships bid.

Outside of the doubles draw, Kadiri earned two victories, coming against BYU's David Duong (6-4, 6-2) and Boise State's John Chin (7-5, 4-6, 6-3), before falling to the top-seeded and No. 94 ranked player in the nation, Daniel Sancho Arbizu of Denver. Kadiri pushed Sancho Arbizu to a third set, but ultimately lost, 6-2, 4-6, 6-2.

Hammond also won his opening singles match against conference-foe Air Force's AJ Moore, 6-2, 6-7 (3), 6-3. Hammond lost to another conference opponent, Carson Baker of Boise State, 6-4, 6-4, falling out of the draw.

Nevada picked up three more victories over the week, all coming in the singles qualifying stage.
Greg Valente took down two opponents to find his way into the main draw. Valente defeated Gustavo Campos of New Mexico State, 6-3, 6-7 (8), 6-1, as well as Quentin LaMothe, from Idaho State, 6-4, 7-5.

Rémy Trégourès defeated Weber State's Theo Mottier to claim his spot in the main draw, winning 6-4, 7-6 (3).

Looking ahead, the Wolf Pack heads down to San Diego for a three-day hidden dual. Additionally, Hammond and Kadiri will hope to be selected for the ITA West Sectional Championships, the Pack's final route to the NCAA Individual Championships.
