RENO, Nev. - Nevada Soccer hosted Colorado State in a big Sunday afternoon match-up, falling late to the Rams with a final of 1-0. 

The majority of the match was a defensive battle as neither team was able to get on the board until the final 24 minutes of the game. With an unlucky break, the Wolf Pack found themselves playing from behind after the Rams took the lead in the 66th minute.

Despite the score, Alyssa Szarlacki had an impressive game. She shutout Colorado State for most of the match, while battling several shots. She ended the day with five saves.

Offensively for the Wolf Pack, the final 15 minutes is where they saw their best chances. In the 77th minute, Emily Rich had a shot on goal, but it was saved by the Rams' goalie. Just a few minutes later, Cassidy Bell had an attempt that was just barely saved. Into the final five, three back-to-back-to-back shots came from the Wolf Pack, but they just couldn't connect. 

Nevada will remain at home, hosting Boise State on October 24th at 7 PM.
