This week in Wolf Pack Athletics

RENO, Nev. - Nevada football's home opener against Idaho Saturday at 4 p.m. at Mackay Stadium highlights the action-packed week the Pack has in store. Here is all the Wolf Pack teams in action this week. 

Soccer
Nevada soccer concludes the road portion of its non-conference schedule Thursday, traveling to Los Angeles to take on LMU at 7 p.m. Nevada is coming off its fourth draw of the season, using a goal in the 57th minute by junior Penny Murphy to finish with a 1-1 draw against UC Riverside in Sunday's home opener. 

LMU has won three out of its last four matches, most recently coming up with a 1-0 victory at UC Davis. The Lions have scored five goals and have a save percentage of .722 to result in a 3-3 start.

Volleyball 
Nevada volleyball will look to wrap the final road contest of its non-conference schedule Friday and Saturday at the UCR/CBU Invitational. Friday, Sept. 8, the Pack will play a doubleheader with the first match slated for 11 a.m. against Oregon State followed by the second match at 6 p.m against CBU. Nevada will then take on UCR Saturday, Sept. 9 at 11 a.m. 

Nevada will then kick off their first home matches of the season hosting the Wolf Pack Tournament at Virginia Street Gym Thursday, Sept. 14 - Saturday, Sept. 16.
