RENO, Nev. - Nevada Athletics announced the promotional schedule for the 2023 Wolf Pack Football campaign, Thursday.
The Wolf Pack's 2023 home slate features six contests at Mackay Stadium, including three afternoon kickoffs. Season tickets, mini-plans, and single-game tickets for the home campaign are available at
MyNevadaTickets.com.
The 2023 season also includes the return of the Wolf Pack Walk, scheduled to take place approximately three hours and 15 minutes prior to kick off each home Saturday.
Nevada plays afternoon contests against Idaho (Sept. 9, 4 p.m.), UNLV (Oct. 14, 2 p.m.), and Hawai'i (Nov. 4, 1 p.m.).
Later kicks at Mackay are set for 7:30 p.m. against Kansas (Sept. 16) and New Mexico (Oct. 28), and at 6 p.m. in the home finale against Wyoming (Nov. 25).
Each of the Pack's home contests will feature the Concert Series sponsored by Northern Nevada Toyota Dealers and Pepsi at the We Are Nevada Tailgate presented by Bud Light.
For Nevada students, each game one lucky student will go home with $1,000 for staying the entire duration of the contest. As part of the continued expansion with Wolf Pack Rewards, beacons will be set up around Mackay Stadium to give students more opportunities to earn points for staying through the game and be sent unique prizes from sponsors.
The Wolf Pack's Sept. 9 home opener against Idaho will be the "Salute to Service" Day, featuring a "camo" color scheme for fans.
The following Saturday, against Kansas, will be a Silver Out, as the Pack celebrates Extra Yards for Teachers. The contest will also feature VAMOS Pack, in conjunction with the University's month-long celebration of Hispanic/LatinX Heritage Month.
The centerpiece of the Pack's 2023 home schedule is Oct. 14, in the Battle for the Fremont Cannon against arch-rival UNLV. The Silver State Series presented by America First Credit Union rivalry game will kick off the University's year-long Sesquicentennial (150th anniversary) Celebration, with a Blue Out theme.
Homecoming Week will conclude with Oct. 28's contest against New Mexico, which will also feature the induction of the Nevada Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2023. The game will feature a throwback theme.
Nov. 4's game against Hawai'i will be "Pack Goes Pink," as Nevada, along with game sponsor Renown, Goes Pink in support of Cancer Awareness.
The home slate concludes with Senior Night, and Mental Health Awareness Night, against Wyoming. The color scheme for the finale is Silver and Blue.
Concessions offerings will also feature new items and deals in 2023. The first hour following Mackay Stadium gates opening will be a "happy hour" featuring reduced prices on standard food items, including $6 beers. Additionally, more craft beer options and Aguavawava cocktail drinks will be offered.
Pin sets for each of the six home games will be available for purchase through Silver & Blue Outfitters, beginning Sept. 1. Stay tuned for pin releases each home game week.
