Nevada women's basketball will go on its Canadian Exhibition Tour Aug. 3-9 in British Columbia, taking on Canadian schools Thompson Rivers University, the University of the Fraser Valley and the University of British Columbia Okanagan. Along with playing three exhibition games, Nevada women's basketball will take advantage of seeing the Vancouver sights. The itinerary so far includes a trip to Whistler, various parks, community service projects and other fun-filled activities.

"Our program is excited to travel to Canada in August and use this as an opportunity to grow as a team," head coach Amanda Levens said. "This will not only give us great preparation for the 2023-24 season, but it will also be a phenomenal educational experience for our student-athletes."

With its scenic views, mild climate, and friendly people, Vancouver is known around the world as both a popular tourist attraction and one of the best places to live. Considered one of the most ethnically and linguistically diverse cities in Canada, Vancouver has been home to a number of international events which included the Winter Olympics in 2010.

Nevada returns nine letterwinners from the previous season, including three of its top four leading scorers from 2022-23 (Lexie Givens, Audrey Roden, Victoria Davis). The Pack will also welcome seven newcomers, including a pair of graduate transfers from Division I schools to go with five freshmen.

NCAA rules permit one foreign trip every four years, with Nevada last taking one in 2017 to Spain. The Pack received 10 extra practices to prepare for the tour.
