Women's Basketball

Nevada women’s basketball to host three summer camps

RENO, Nev. – Nevada women's basketball will host three summer camps in 2023. 

The Pack will host its annual Team Camp (June 24-25), Overnight Camp (July 25-27) and Elite Camp (August 26). Instruction will be led by head coach Amanda Levens along with the rest of the coaching staff and student-athletes. 

Camps are open to young players in grades 3-12, as well as graduated seniors and will take place at Lawlor Events Center and Ramon Sessions Basketball Performance Facility.
 
The camp details include: 
  • Team Camp (June 24-25)
    -$300 per team
    -12 players max
    -$15 for each additional player
    -Five games guaranteed
    -Grades 7-12 (includes graduated seniors) 
  • Overnight Camp (July 25-27)
    -July 25 runs from 1-7 p.m.
    -July 26 runs from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
    -July 27 runs from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
    -$250 overnight, $200 day only
    -Five meals provided (breakfast 26-27, lunch 26, dinner 25-26)
    -Grades 3-12 for day only
    -Grades 5-12 for overnight 
  • Elite Camp (August 26)
    -$60
    -10 a.m.-3 p.m.
    -Grades 7-12 (includes graduated seniors)

Nevada women's basketball is dedicated to helping aspiring young athletes grow in every aspect of the game. From tactical game awareness to technical skills and beyond, the Pack aspires to create a fun learning environment where players of all levels and abilities can develop at their own pace.

Nevada women's basketball has won over 480 games since its membership in the NCAA and has accumulated five postseason appearances. The Pack has had at least one player named All-Mountain West each year since joining the conference prior to the 2012-13 season. Entering her seventh season at Nevada, Levens has coached 10 All-Mountain West honorees, five professional players and guided the Pack to a pair of postseason appearances.
