RENO, Nev. - Nevada dropped the first game of the series against San Diego State, 10-1, Saturday afternoon.
Aaliyah Jenkins led the Pack offense after putting an RBI double on the board in the bottom of the fourth.
Haley Painter drew two walks on the game and tallied a single in the bottom of the fifth.
Andrea Lira came in to pinch hit for
Hailey Prahm in the bottom of the fifth and hit a single through the left side to get on base.
Blake Craft was the starter in the circle for the Pack. Craft played in four innings and gave up six hits, four runs, three walks, and struck out two Aztecs players.
Tyra Clary came in to relief in the top of the fifth. Clary gave up two hits and three runs before
Brooklyn Trujillo-Quintana came in to close the game. Trujillo-Quintana gave the Aztecs five hits and three runs.
