BOISE, Idaho - Nevada split the doubleheader against the Boise State Broncos. The Pack won the first game 6-5 before dropping the second game 9-5.
GAME 1
Maile Olsen (1-3) started the third inning with a solo home run to put the Pack on the board. Hailey Prahm (2-3) hit her first home run of the season on a deep ball to center field to give the Pack a 2-1 lead. Chelie Senini (2-2) got her second triple of the season to put the Pack in scoring position before Gabby Herrera (1-3) came at bat for a two-RBI home run.
At the top of the fourth, Madison Clark (2-2) stole third base and scored on a throwing error by the Broncos to extend the lead to 5-3.
Senini, with her second triple of the day, led the offense into the fifth inning. Charli Hawkins's sacrifice fly drove Senini across the plate for a 6-4 score.
Boise State scored a run in the bottom of the fifth, but the Pack topped the Broncos 6-5.
Blake Craft started in the circle for the Pack. Craft struck out five Bronco players in five innings played. The junior gave up seven hits, five runs, and three walks before Tyra Clary stepped in the circle to relief.
Clary gave up three hits and two strikeouts to record the save for the Pack.
Game 2
Aaliyah Jenkins scored a two-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Pack on the board after trailing 4-0.
The Broncos extended their lead in the bottom of the sixth with four runs against Brown. Trujillo-Quintana checked in to close the inning for the Pack.
At the top of the seventh, Senini singled to second base to drive one across the plate for the Pack. Jenkins single-scored two runs for the Pack before a ground-out close the game 9-5 for the Broncos.
Carley Brown was the starting pitcher for the Pack. Brown gave up six hits, eight runs, and two walks while striking out four Broncos players. Trujillo-Quintana allowed two hits, a run, and two walks.

Nevada returns to Hixson for two games against San Diego State Saturday and Sunday. Sunday's game will be sponsored by Saint Mary's Health Network.
The first pitch on Saturday is set for 2 p.m. While the Pack and the Aztecs will face each other on Sunday starting at noon.
