RENO, Nev. - Nevada had 70 student-athletes named to the Fall 2022 Academic All-Mountain West List, the conference announced Tuesday.

To be eligible for 2022 Fall Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and must have competed in 50 percent of the team's completed varsity contests.

The announcement enhances the strong fall semester for Nevada student-athletes, which combined to post a grade-point average of 3.12 for the term. That figure is also an increase from the Fall 2021 GPA of 3.02, the first term featuring full in-person classes since the COVID-19 pandemic.

Twelve Nevada programs posted Fall 2022 GPAs of at least 3.00, with women's cross country (3.77) leading the way. Women's golf (3.66), women's swimming and diving (3.54), and men's tennis (3.50) rounded out the four Wolf Pack programs which reached the 3.50 threshold.
