SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Nevada won the final games of the Cal Poly tournament against UC Santa Barbara and Cal Poly Sunday afternoon. The Pack will return to Reno with a 4-1 record at the start of the season.Â

Brooklyn Trujillo-Quintana registered her first win of the season as a member of the Pack. Trujillo-Quintana gave up five hits, one run, and three strikeouts.Â
Carley Brown appeared in the circle to relieve Trujillo-Quintana at the top of the sixth to record the safe.Â
Chelie Senini led the Pack offense with two runs and two hits. Senini also continues to lead the team in stolen bases, as she recorded two in the game.Â
Gabby Herrera registered the fly-out sac that put Nevada on the board, while Aaliyah Jenkins, with a double down the left line, put the second run to the Pack on the scoreboard.Â

Tyra Clary registered her second win of the season after coming into relief Blake Craft in the top of the sixth. Craft gave up four hits, one run, and three strikeouts before giving the ball to Clary. Clary gave up two hits and one strikeout.Â
Chelie Senini recorded an RBI single in the top of the fifth that tied the game against the Mustangs.Â
Maile Olsen hit a solo home run at the top of the seventh inning, giving the lead to the Pack.Â
Haylee Engelbrecht singled to center field and scored Senini and Herrera, which gave the Pack a 4-1 lead. Engelbrecht and Prahm, on a double-play, called the game to improve Nevada's record to 4-1. Â

Nevada will continue on the road to the Winthrop Tournament, Feb. 17-19. The Pack will face North Carolina A&T State and Queens College Friday, Feb. 17, to start the weekend.Â
