SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Nevada women's basketball wraps up non-conference play with contests against Western Kentucky and BYU in Missouri Wednesday and Thursday at 10 a.m.

The games will be available to listen on KPLY 630 AM. Emmy award-winning broadcaster Larry Burnett will be on the radio play-by-play once again for Nevada women's basketball, where fans can also listen online through the Varsity Network. Wednesday and Thursday's games will not have a television stream.

INCREDIBLE IZZY
Nevada women's basketball freshman guard Izzy Sullivan has been named Mountain West Freshman of the Week, the conference announced Monday. Sullivan is coming off a career-high 20 points and registered her first 20-point game at the college level Saturday against Stanislaus State. Her 20 points marked the first time a Nevada freshman scored 20 points since Dec. 4, 2021 (Audrey Roden, 22 points at Pacific).

SWEET STEALS

The Pack are currently 6th in the nation and first in the Mountain West in steals, averaging 13.8 steals per game. Nevada is also in the top 25 in the nation in turnover margin with an average of 6.5. The Pack opened the season with 23 steals Nov. 9, the fourth-most by a Wolf Pack squad in a single game in the NCAA Era. They recently collected 24 steals Dec. 16 against Stanislaus State, the third-most by a Nevada team in a single game in the NCAA Era.

She also became the third Nevada sophomore to reach 500 career points under head coach Amanda Levens. Roden is currently in the top 15 nationally in steals and leads the Mountain West with 33. She came up with her second career double-double Nov. 29 against San Diego (22 points, 11 rebounds).
