Mountain West announces 2024 football matchups

RENO, Nev. - Nevada will host Air Force, Colorado State, Fresno State, and Oregon State in 2024, as the Mountain West on Thursday announced its football matchups for next season.

The Wolf Pack will go on the road to face Boise State, Hawai'i, San José State, and UNLV.

Fans can visit MyNevadaTickets.com to place a deposit of just $50 for 2024 season tickets. Wolf Pack fans that make their deposits now will receive two (2) free tickets to Nevada's Sept. 7, 2024 home opener against Georgia Southern.

Nevada will face Oregon State for the fifth time overall, and the first time since Sept. 15, 2018, when the Pack defeated the Beavers, 37-35, at Mackay Stadium.

Dates for each contest will be announced later.

The 2024 schedule follows a 7+1 model, whereby each MW program will play seven league opponents, and play either Oregon State or Washington State, with an even split of four home games and four away games among the eight contests. Working off the previous three-year schedule rotation (2023-2025), matchups were rebalanced utilizing the same principles to minimize the impact on the original 2024 schedule. The schedule format and agreement with Oregon State and Washington State provides additional strength of schedule to the MW.

The schedule will play out over 14 weeks, concluding on Saturday, December 7, with the Mountain West Football Championship Game featuring the two MW teams with the highest Conference winning percentages.
