TULSA, Okla. - Nevada Men's Tennis qualified four players for the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma this past weekend.  

All four members competed in the pre-qualifying stage of the singles draw at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. Senior Matheo Coupu and junior Youssef Kadiri Hassani were drawn directly into the qualifying stage for doubles.  

Coupu started the tournament for the Pack Saturday with a 6-3, 6-1 loss to Stefanos Savva of Arkansas. The Wolf Pack dropped each of their other three matches on the day. Virginia Tech's Maxime St-Hilaire defeated Loris Zisswiller 6-2, 6-2.  

Junior Pedro Liborio forced a third set against Dayton's Connor Bruce, eventually falling 6-3, 3-6, 6-0. Day one wrapped up with Kadiri Hassani falling 6-4, 7-6 (8-6) to Columbia's Jayden Templeman.

Day two came with some upside for the Pack in the prequalifying consolation draw. Liborio defeated Connor Smillie of Arkansas, 7-5, 6-3. Coupu also took down his opponent, winning 3-6, 7-6 (9-7), 7-5 against Temple's Gregoire Bartey.  

Kadiri Hassani lost in his consolation match 6-4, 6-7 (4-7), 6-3 to Dayton's Nikola Puric. Zisswiller also dropped his Sunday consolation 7-6 (9-7), 6-4 to Rithvik Krishna of UC Irvine.  

Monday featured the opening day of the doubles draws, with Coupu and Kadiri Hassani pairing up to take on Jacob Bickersteth and Will Cooksey of Michigan. The Nevada duo lost their only doubles match 6-4, 6-4. 

Up Next 
Nevada travels to Berkeley for the ITA Northwest Regional. The tournament begins Thursday Oct. 5 and runs through Monday Oct. 9
