FRESNO, Calif. – Nevada leaves Fresno State with a loss against the Bulldogs, 123-177 in its first regular Mountain West matchup of the season.

The Pack started the meet with another season best finish second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:44.70.

Before the break, the Pack had two first place finishes before the break, most notable performances coming from
Scarlett Ferris in the 100 backstroke with a season best time of 55.27 and
Yasmin Perry in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:03.60.

Continuing the dominant performance in the backstroke and butterfly events,
Molly Von Seggern and
Scarlett Ferris had top two finishes in the 200 backstroke with Von Seggern recording a time of 2:06.53 and Ferris 2:07.75.
Sara Mihalic finished second in the 200 breaststroke with a season best time of 2:19.74. In the 100 butterfly, Perry had a season best first place finish with a time of 55.06 and Evie Wood in third with a time of 57.71.

Ferris and Mihalic secured the third and fourth place finishes in the 200 IM with times of 2:09.23 and 2:03.29. Concluding the day,
Colette Berkenfield,
Evie Floate,
Olivia Stevenson, and
Yasmin Perry finished second in the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:31.96.

The divers had a dominant performance on Friday evening, with Nevada topping the leaderboard in the 1-meter springboard and 3-meter springboard. In the 3-meter,
Lucia Gabino took home first with a score of 319.80,
Dani Griffin in third (257.03), and Madi Simons in fifth (221.70).

In the 1-meter, the Pack claimed first and second place with
Melissa Mirafuentes in the top spot with a score 314.33. Gabino followed in second with a score of 306.23 points
, Griffin in fifth (204.23), and Simons in sixth (x177.15), respectively.

The Pack will go on the road for the mid-season invite. The swimmers will head to St. George, Utah on Nov. 15-17 for the Utah Tech Invite.
