Salt Lake City – Nevada wrapped up a very successful trip to Salt Lake City, Utah finishing with a runner-up and a quarterfinalist.  

Sophomore Wiem Boubaker led the Pack through a busy week of matches, clinching an appearance in the B Draw finals. Amahée Charrier earned a quarterfinal berth, while four other members of the pack combined for six more victories. 

Boubaker's path to the championship began with a 7-5, 6-3 victory over Utah's Samantha Horwood in the round of 64. Boubaker then defeated Boise State's Ariadna Briones Ginesta 6-1, 6-3, Weber State's Kenadee Semenik 6-4, 6-3, and BYU's Madison Smith 6-3, 6-4 to secure a semifinal matchup. Boubaker took down Montana's Hailey Murphy in straight sets, 7-5, 7-5 for a place in Championship Sunday. Despite her best efforts, Boubaker dropped her finals match to Utah's Emma Kamper 1-6, 6-1, 7-5. Boubaker's second-place award is her second accolade of the fall season, she won the Grey Doubles Championship with Anastasia Luneva at the Cal Fall Invite earlier this month. 

The regional featured more Wolf Pack success with Charrier making a quarterfinals appearance in the A Draw. Charrier began the week with a victory over UNLV's Cindy Hu 3-6, 6-2, 6-2. That victory was followed up by a thrilling win over BYU's Jacque Dunyon 5-7, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (10). Charrier won her round of 16 match against Weber State's Megan Davies 7-6 (1), 6-1 before being knocked out of the draw by Utah's Kaila Barksdale 6-3, 6-3. Charrier won her consolation match 5-7, 7-6 (8), [10-8] over Denver's Caroline Driscoll. 

Marlene Foerster was the second member of the Pack participating in the A Draw. Foerster lost her opening match 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 to Wyoming's Sophie Zehender, however, managed a consolation comeback victory over UNLV's Hu 3-6, 7-5, [12-10].  

Senior Lou-Anne Guerbert and Fifth Year Luneva won each of their opening matches in the B Draw. Guerbert defeated Jazmin Lerman of Montana State 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 (1). Luneva beat Colorado State's Luana Avelar 7-6 (5), 6-1. In the round of 32, Guerbert was defeated 7-6 (3), 5-7, 6-3 by BYU's Kara Wheatley, while Luneva was knocked out by Claudia Martinez de Velasco (Denver) 6-1, 6-3. Junior transfer Léa Cakarevic lost her first match 6-2, 6-1 to Utah's Ana Cruz. 

In consolation play, Guerbert picked up two victories, defeating Lucia Malinak of Wyoming 7-6 (2), 6-0, and Utah's Isabella Pitchford 6-2, 6-7 (9) [10-3]. Luneva won a consolation match against Stefanya Shalakhova of Idaho State 6-3, 6-2. 

The Wolf Pack lost each of their doubles matches in the main draw. Colorado's Aya El Sayed and Pia Rebec defeated Foerster and Guerbert 8-7 (2). UNLV's Hu and Coco Zhao beat Charrier and Cakarevic 8-4. Finally, Marcela Lopez and Katherine Lyman of Utah knocked out Boubaker and Luneva 8-3. 

Foerster and Guerbert won their first doubles consolation match 6-2 against Weber State's Sydney Schnell and Jessica Hill. Charrier and Cakarevic also picked up a consolation win over Northern Arizona's Ana Karen Guadiana and Daryna Shoshyna 7-6 (7).
