Box Score DAVIS, Calif. – Nevada Men's Tennis sent two members to the Aggie Invitational for their second fall tournament of the season.

Following a successful first weekend in Berkeley, sophomore Gregoire Valente and freshman Rémy Trégourès made the trip to Davis, Calif., for the Aggie Invite.

The Pack opened the weekend Friday with a close doubles loss to the UC Davis pairing of Ryan Torres and Ivan Savkin 8-7 (7-4). The duo backed up their close result with a victory over Aidan Watt and Sumir Srivastava of Saint Mary's 8-6.

In the main draw, both pack members were drawn into the Flight B bracket. Trégourès defeated Max Fardanesh (UC Davis) 6-2, 6-3 to advance to the quarterfinals. Valente dropped his match 6-3, 6-3 to Asaf Friedler of San Francisco.

On day two, Trégourès was defeated by Saint Mary's Pierre Lieutaud in straight sets 6-2, 6-4 falling out of the main draw. Valente split his consolation results, including a win over Aidan Watt (Saint Mary's) 6-0, 6-1 and a loss to Arjun Honnappa (Santa Clara) 6-1, 6-3. The Pack dropped their doubles match on Saturday 8-6 to the UC Davis pair of Antres Djakouris and Sam De Vries.

Wrapping up the trip, Valente won his final singles match 4-6, 6-3, [10-4] finishing the weekend 2-2. Trégourès lost his Sunday match 6-3, 6-0 to Pacific's Terence Das. Nevada also forced another close tiebreaker but lost 8-7 (7-5) to Pacific's Riley Hillenbrad and Tiago Silva.

Trégourès went 1-2 over the weekend and the doubles team won one of their four matches.

The Pack continues at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla. Matheo Coupu and Youssef Kadiri Hassani pair up to take on the doubles qualifying bracket throughout the week. The next tournament for the Wolf Pack is the ITA Northwest regional, kicking off Oct. 5 and running through Oct. 9.
