This Week in Wolf Pack Athletics

RENO, Nev. - Nevada Volleyball opens its home slate this weekend, highlighting a Wolf Pack athletics slate which includes soccer making a trip to California, men's golf heading to Colorado, and women's tennis hosting a fall tournament.

VOLLEYBALL

Nevada volleyball will host the first home weekend of the season on Thursday, Sept. 29, and Saturday, Oct. 1. The Pack will first take the Utah State Aggies on Thursday at 6 p.m. followed by the Boise State Broncos Saturday at 11 a.m.

The game against Utah State on Thursday will be a theme Mental Health Awareness match. With September being Suicide Prevention month and the recent losses of student-athletes across the country, we would like to honor those we have recently lost. The first 100 students to get to the game will get a free Hot Chicken Sandwich.

On Saturday, the contest against Boise State will be our pink-out game as October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to show their support. The first 100 students will be given a pumpkin spice latte as a giveaway.
