ATLANTA, Georgia – Nevada swim and dive finished their participation at the NCAA Championships during prelims on Saturday morning. Swimmer,
Donna dePolo finished the 200 breaststroke in 48
th place with a time of 2:12.26. Diver,
Laura Isabel Vazquez Lopez concluded the platform event in 28
th place, with a total score of 248.55.
"Couldn't be more proud of Isa and Donna to represent Nevada at the NCAA Championships." said head coach

This was the second time both student-athletes have represented the Nevada swim and dive team in the NCAA Championships.
Despite not qualifying to compete in the final, dePolo and Vazquez finished the season with remarkable results. dePolo finishes her collegiate career with two school records, two gold medals in the Mountain West Championships, All-MW honors, and the Senior Recognition Award. While Vazquez also earned All-MW honors and three bronze medals in the diving events during the Mountain West Championships.
