RENO, Nev. – Twenty current and former Nevada Wolf Pack student-athletes and one member of the cheer team have applied for graduation at the University of Nevada this winter. Commencement ceremonies for the University will be held Saturday at Lawlor Events Center.
The Wolf Pack athletics department has seen over 1,300 student-athletes graduate over the past 14 years.
"We are proud to see the hard work and commitment of our student-athletes culminate at Commencement," said Nevada Athletics Director Stephanie Rempe. "This winter's graduating student-athletes make up a diverse group which has excelled in the classroom and on the field of play, and brought great pride to our community in how they represented Nevada."
The 21 graduates earned degrees in a wide range of fields, and achieved a number of athletic honors. Among the group are numerous All-Mountain West honorees, a Mountain West postseason award winner (Toa Taua, 2018 Mountain West Freshman of the Year), and an NCAA Championships participant (Tierney Wolfgram, 2021 NCAA Cross Country Championships).
