Nevada takes on North Dakota State in Nugget Classic finale

RENO, Nev. - Nevada women's basketball wraps up the 2022 Nugget Classic on Sunday at the Lawlor Events Center, taking on North Dakota State at 12:30 p.m.

Larry Burnett will have the call on 94.1 FM and 1450 AM, with a 20 minute pregame show prior to tipoff. Fans can also listen live online through the Varsity Network. The game will be available to watch on Mountain West Network and live stats can be accessed through Sidearm. 

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance online. Youth tickets start at just $5 while adult general admission start at $10 online. Tickets can be purchased at the Lawlor Events Center on Sunday for $12. 

With the holiday season right around the corner, Nevada Athletics and Pack Provisions have collaborated to host an on-campus food drive during the Nugget Classic. Individuals who participate in the food drive on Nov. 27 at Lawlor Events Center will receive discounted admission at the ticket office window for any goods they bring in. All donations will directly benefit Pack Provisions and students on campus.

Nevada will host the Nugget Classic for the 16th time at the Lawlor Events Center and hold a 18-14 all-time record in the event. The Pack have won four out of their last six games in the Nugget Classic and are currently on a three-game winning streak in the Thanksgiving weekend showcase. 

Nevada began its annual Nugget Classic event at the Lawlor Events Center by defeating Milwaukee 64-47 on Friday. Junior forward Lexie Givens came up with a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds, the second double-double of her career. Sophomore Audrey Roden finished with a season-high 15 points while junior Victoria Davis recorded 12 points.
SCOUTING NORTH DAKOTA STATE 
North Dakota State is off to its first 5-0 start since the 2017-18 season after defeating Boise State 68-53 on Friday. The Bison defeated Nevada in its first matchup on November 19, 2011 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 

Heaven Hamling led North Dakota State with 23 points and three steals in Friday's win. Elle Evans added 13 points in the Nugget Classic opener while Abby Schulte came up with 11 points and three rebounds. North Dakota State has four players averaging over 10 points per game, led by Hamling with a 15. 2 points per game mark. 

SEASON TICKETS AND MINI PLANS ON SALE NOW
Season tickets and mini plans are now on sale. Season tickets for Nevada women's basketball start at just $65. Season tickets for youth (8th grade and under) start at just $25 while the Family Four Pack (two adults, two youth) are $37.50 per person. Students receive free admission with their Wolf Card.

Nevada is offering two plans that are flexible for fans to choose the games they want to attend. Each plan will provide fans the ability to guarantee tickets inside Lawlor Events Center for marquee games.

All weekend games not a part of the Nugget Classic and the Feb. 11 game against New Mexico will be followed by a free post-game clinic for eighth grade and under students in addition to postgame autographs.
