St. George, Utah - Nevada swim concluded the participation in the Utah Tech Invite in seventh place, with a score of 318 points.
Josien Wijkhuijs set a new school record in the 100 backstroke with a time of 52.69 during the prelims. The previous mark was 53.30, established in 2015 by Jaeger Turner. Wijkhuijs secured the win in the afternoon with a time of 53.52.
Benedict Nagy was also a key swimmer for the Pack as she secured first place in the 400 IM with a time of 4:19.34. B. Nagy also represented the Pack in the 200 IM (2:03.12) with a fifth-place finish and a 15th place in the 200 backstroke (2:03.45).
Wiktoria Samula continues to hold Nevada's breaststroke group history as she finished in third place in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:02.71 and fourth place in the 200 breast with a time of 2:17.69.
Nevada's 200 medley relay, composed of Kyla Alexander, Samula, Wijkhuijs, and Colette Berkenfield, secured second place with a time of 1:40.53.
Alexander and Berkenfield also represented the Pack in individual events. Alexander finished in seventh place in the 100 backstroke (55.04), ninth in the 200 back (2:00.02), and 26th in the 50 free (23.99). Berkenfield concluded the 100 free in sixth place, with a time of 51.00, and 23rd in the 50 free (23.83).
