RENO, Nev. - It's Homecoming Week at Nevada, and the Wolf Pack has a full slate of action on campus. Thursday kicks off the slate of Homecoming matches with soccer hosting Air Force, and it continues with women's and men's basketball exhibition action, and volleyball and football Saturday.

Nevada hosts San Diego State Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. at Mackay Stadiumc, for its annual Homecoming contest.
The Pack aims to get back in the win column and get its first Mountain West victory of the season.

VOLLEYBALL
Nevada volleyball goes on the road for a mid-week match against the San José State Spartans on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 6 p.m. and a home match against in-state rivals UNLV Saturday, Oct. 22, 1 p.m.Â
The match against the Rebels will be a blue out. Fans are encouraged to wear their blue Nevada gear. There will also a top hat giveaway until supply last.
The Pack is in a row as they have won three straight games. Kayla Afoa continues to lead the Pack in kills with 291 kills, which is ranked third in the Mountain West.Â
Gabby McLaughlin is ranked second in service aces with 30 total. McLaughlin also appears in seventh for kills (246).Â
Senior Andrea Alcaraz is also ranked in the assists and digs categories of the conference's leaders. Alcaraz sits in sixth with 611 assists and ninth with 247 digs.Â
Freshman Jordan Schwartz continues to impact the net for the Pack as she is ranked sixth in the blocks category with 80 total blocks.Â

SWIM AND DIVE
Nevada swim team hits the road to Hayward, Calif. for a tri-meet against UC Davis and Cal State East Bay on Saturday, Oct. 22. The meet will start at 12Â p.m.

Last Time Out
Nevada started the season strong as they took down Pacific (181-130) and Simon Fraser (192-117) on Oct. 2. Senior Josien Wijkhuijs claimed Mountain West Swimmer of the Week honors on that weekend. Wijkhuijs earned the award for the first time in her Wolf Pack career.Â
Wijkhuijs secured first place in the 100 backstroke, 100 freestyle, and 100 butterfly. The senior registered 57.07 in the 100 back, 52.39 in the 100 free, and 57.70 in the 100 fly.Â
Wijkhuijs was also a member of the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay that won the events, with times of 1:46.61 and 1:37.66, respectively. The senior also finished in third place in the 50 free, with a time of 24.05.
WOMEN'S SOCCERÂ
Nevada women's soccer returns home for its final two home matches of the 2022 season on Thursday and Sunday at Mackay Stadium. The Pack take on Air Force on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. while wrapping up the home portion of the season on Sunday against Colorado College at 12 p.m.Â
Fifth year goalkeeper Kendal Stovall broke the program's career saves record on Sunday, now accumulating 413 career saves. She also recorded a season-high 11 saves on Sunday at New Mexico.Â
In addition to Nevada women's soccer hosting its annual Alumni Weekend, Thursday's match will also be Armed Forces Night. Sunday will be Senior Day/Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Day/Reno Sportsdome Day.Â
Air Force has shutout its previous two opponents, coming off a 1-0 win against Wyoming on Sunday. Colorado College managed to get a 1-0 victory on its Senior Day last Sunday against Colorado State.Â

MEN'S TENNISÂ
Doubles partners Satchel Benn and Loris Zisswiller will travel to Stanford this week to the ITA Super Regionals, October 21-24. The pair qualified after their performance at the ITA Northwest Regional last weekend, where they made the final in doubles play against host team California.Â
Benn and Ziswiller had an impressive slate leading up the final, with wins over Pacific in the first round 8-5, taking Santa Clara in a close second round 8-7, and walking over Saint Mary's 8-2. The semifinals saw another dominating performance over Pacific, 7-5, 6-1, 10-8. The final ultimately went to California, where the Pack fell 4-6, 7-5, 10-7.Â
Last season, the pair were ranked sixth in the Mountain Region at the end of last year in doubles play after beating a no. 13 ranked USC. As a team, Nevada was ranked 69th in the top-75 National Teams poll, the first time the Pack has ever been in the rankings. In the mountain region, the team was ranked third overall.Â

WOMEN'S GOLF
Nevada Women's Golf plays its final tournament of its fall season, one which has already been among the most successful in program history.
The Pack heads to Henderson for The Clash at Boulder Creek, held at Boulder Creek Golf Course, from Sunday-Tuesday, Oct. 23-25.
Nevada has finished in the top three in each of its first three events of the fall, including capturing the Colonel Wollenberg Ptarmigan Ram Classic in Fort Collins, Colo. Fifth-year Victoria Gailey will go for her third-straight individual title.
