Box Score SACRAMENTO, Calif. -Â Nevada fell to 1-1 at the Golden Gate Invitational in Sacramento, falling to San Francisco, 4-1, Saturday.
The Pack (2-4) swept the first two doubles matches to earn the first point of the dual, but San Francisco rolled off four-straight wins in singles play to clinch the match.
The tandems of
Isaac Nortey and
Juan Batalla, and
Matheo Coupu and
Delmas N'Tcha, captured their doubles matches in quick fashion. Nortey and Batalla made quick work of San Francisco's Stevie Gould and Nitzan Ricklis, 6-1, while Coupu and N'Tcha rolled to a 6-2 victory over Phuc Huynh and Ori Maior.
Nevada closes out its trip to Sacramento tomorrow with a 9 a.m. dual against Saint Mary's.
