Box Score DAVIS, Calif. - Nevada men's tennis competed at its first fall event this weekend, traveling to Davis for the Aggie Invitational. The Pack's opening weekend was highlighted by the doubles tandem of Satchel Benn and Daniel Dudockin capturing the White Doubles bracket title.

Benn and Dudockin received a bye in the opening round, before defeating Saint Mary's Felipe Rincon and Carlos Ramos, 9-8 (3), Saturday morning. The Nevada pair immediately faced Ryan Morgan and Ryan Torres, of host UC Davis, in the semifinals, and earned a finals bid with an 8-5 triumph.

Sunday morning, Benn and Dudockin wrapped their run with an 8-6 victory in the final over another UC Davis tandem, Coleton Hootman and Andras Necz.

In the same bracket, Nevada's team of Benjamin Campi and Ambroise Marchand earned a bye into the quarterfinals, where they fell to Hootman and Necz, 8-2.

In singles action, three Wolf Pack players reached the quarterfinals of their respective draws. In the Red bracket, Campi defeated Karlo Divkovic of Saint Mary's, 6-4, 6-4, before falling to UC Davis' Mitchell Davis, 6-3, 6-2, in the quarters. Also in the Red bracket, Loris Zisswiller captured an opening-round 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 win over Sacramento State's Ori Maior before falling, 6-4, 7-5, to UC Davis' Brent Brinkman in the quarters, and Juan Batalla defeated Pacific's Coby McCaig, 7-5, 7-5, in the opening round before suffering a 6-1, 6-2 loss to UC Davis' Ryan Morgan.

In the Green bracket, Marchand beat Santa Clara's Matthew Rodriguez, 6-2, 5-7, 6-2, before falling, 6-1, 6-3, to UC Davis' Cory Pham in the quarters.

Nevada will host the Wolf Pack Invitational next Friday-Sunday, Oct. 8-10.
