Reno, Nev. - Coming off from the team's first win of the 2021-2022 season against the San Jose State Spartans, the Nevada swim team is set for the first home meet of the season. The Pack will take on the UC Davis Aggies and the Cal State East Bay Pioneers on Saturday. The meet is set to start at 11 a.m. in the Lombardi Pool.Â

LAST TIME OUT
The last time the Pack was in the pool, Nevada came out strong against the San Jose State and took down the Spartans on a final score of 63-47 to take the first win of the season. The Pack won eight out of ten relay events against the Spartans.Â
ABOUT THE AGGIESÂ
The Aggies have a 1-0 record heading into Saturday, defeating Pepperdine University 207-87 on Oct. 16. The Aggies won 13 of the 14 individual events and both relays that they competed at.
ABOUT THE PIONEERS
The Pioneers have a 1-1 record heading into Saturday. The Pioneers were defeated by the University of the Pacific 160.5-100.5 on Sep. 25 but took a win against Pepperdine University 196-66 on Oct. 15.Â
NEXT UP
Following this weekend, the Nevada swim team hits the road to Fresno, Calif. to take on the Fresno State Bulldogs on Nov. 5. The Nevada dive team will have their debut dual meet, traveling to Fayetteville, Ark., to compete against Arkansas on Nov. 13.
