RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada women's tennis team will take to the road and play at the University of San Francisco (3-3) on Friday at noon. The USF match is the final non-conference match before Mountain West play gets underway.
Freshmen
Liza Mintusova (4-1),
Ksenia Shikanova (4-2) along with sophomore Roos van Reek (4-3) top the Pack with four wins in the spring. Mintusova has seen time at No. 2 and 4 singles. Shikanova has played exclusively on court 2 and van Reek at No. 3 singles. Sophomore
Selina Turulja is 3-1 at No. 5 and 6 singles. Freshmen
Arina Gumerova (2-3) and
Anastasia Luneva (2-4) have each won two matches in their first spring in the Silver & Blue. Gumerova's wins are on court 5 and Luneva all at No. 1 singles.
In total 11 combinations have seen action in doubles play. Turulja and Skikanova along with Gumerova and van Reek have posted the top records at 3-1. Six other duos have one win on the season.
