RENO, Nev. – Nevada (19-10, 12-5 MW) will put two streaks on the line when No. 5 San Diego State (27-1, 16-1 MW) comes to Lawlor Events Center on Saturday for a 5 p.m. Mountain West game. The Wolf Pack has won a season-high six games in a row and its last 20 MW home games. The Pack is 33-2 in its last 35 home conference games.
The Pack is tied for second in the MW standings with Utah State. Nevada has earned a bye in next week's MW Championship and will play its first game on Thursday.
SDSU won the first meeting 68-55 on Jan. 18 in San Diego. The Pack led 35-33 at halftime.
SDSU has four players scoring in double figures led by Malachi Flynn's16.9 points per game. Matt Mitchell (12.5 ppg), Yanni Wetzell (11.7 ppg) and Jordan Schakel (10.1 ppg) are also scoring in double figures. Wetzell tops the team with his 6.5 rebounds per game and Mitchell is averaging 4.9 boards per contest. Flynn leads the MW dishing out 5.1 assists per game.
Junior
Jalen Harris continues to top the MW scoring 21.7 points per game and his 25.4 in conference play is also first. Harris has scored in double figures in the last 25 games. He is second on the team in rebound (6.4 rpg) and assists (3.9 apg).
Senor
Jazz Johnson is scoring 16 per game to rank second on the team and eighth in the MW. One of the top 3-point shooters in the MW, Johnson has made three or more 3s in 19 games this season.
Lindsey Drew tops the team in rebounds (6.7 rpg) and assists (4.2 apg). His 11.1 points per game is third on the team.
Nisré Zouzoua is less than a point from being the fourth Nevada player scoring in double figures as he averages 9.8 points per game. Zouzoua has scored in double figures in seven of the last 10 games. In the win over Fresno State he netted 19 points making 5-of-7 shots from behind the arc. In the home win over New Mexico he scored a Pack career-high 20 points.

SENIORS TO HONORED AFTER THE GAME ON SATURDAY
Six Nevada seniors will be honored after the San Diego State game on Saturday, four players, one graduate assistant and one team manager.
The four players are
Lindsey Drew,
Jazz Johnson,
Nisré Zouzoua, and
Johncarlos Reyes. Conrad Chow is the graduate assistant and
Michael Aboussie is the team manager.
Drew is in his fifth season at Nevada. Johnson and Zouzoua are in year two with the Pack and Reyes is a graduate transfer finishing his career at Nevada.
HARRIS IN MOUNTAIN WEST RECORD BOOK
Junior
Jalen Harris is having an outstanding first year after transferring to Nevada from Louisiana Tech. Harris making a dent on the Mountain West record book this season.
Harris' 432 points in MW play is the third most in a season and the top total for a junior. Ruben Douglas (2002-03) is second with 449 points and Jimmer Fredette (2010-11) is first with 502 points.
In conference play his 25.4 points per game currently ranks as the third best season average and is the best for a junior.
In MW play he has made 155 field goals and attempted 313. The 155 made field goals is a new record and record for a junior. The 313 attempts is third most in conference history and tops for a junior. Marvelle Harris (2015-16) is second with 321 attempts and Jimmer Fredette (2010-11) ranks first with 342.
NEVADA WINNERS OF SIX IN A ROW
Nevada has won its last six games, three by double figures and two on the road. Twice this season the Wolf Pack has won a season-high five consecutive games.
In the current five-game streak Nevada is avergaing 86.2 points and allowing 72. From the field the Pack is shooting 48.1 percent while holding opponents to 38.4 percent. From behind the arc Nevada is shooting 36.2 percent and opponents just 29.2 percent.
Three players are averaging double figures led by

Jazz Johnson scoring 15.5 and
Nisré Zouzoua 13.2 per game.
Harris is also averaging 7.8 rebounds and three assists per game. He is shooting 49.2 percent from the field and 36.3 percent on his 3s. Johnson is shooting 40 (14-of-35) percent from behind the arc while Zouzoua is making 38.2 (13-of-34) percent of his 3s.

Lindsey Drew is averaging 9.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.8 assists and two steals per contest.
HARRIS FIRST NEVADA PLAYER WITH FOUR CONSECUTIVE 30-POINT GAMES
Junior
Jalen Harris became the first player at Nevada in the NCAA I era that began in 1969 to score 30 or more points in three consecutive games and added a fourth with 32 points in the win over SJSU. The third was a career-high 38 points in the win over Air Force. Harris had 30 at Boise State and 31 at Colorado State in the previous two games. The 38 points is the high in the Mountain West this season.
In the four games he averaged 32.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game. From the field he shot 53.8 percent, 48.6 percent from behind the arc and 94.1 percent at the free throw line. Of the 131 points 88 came in the second half. He made a career-best six 3s on eight attempts in the 38-point game against Air Force.
In total he has six games of 30 or more points this season and is one-of-seven players in NCAA I with six or more games of 30 or more points this season. He is the only NCAA I player that has four consecutive 30-point games this season. His first of the season was 31 at Air Force and he had 31 at Utah State.
The six games is the most by a MW player since Josh Adams had nine and Elijah Brown six in the 2015-16 season. Jimmer Fredette was the last MW player with four in a row and it was five in a row, the last five games of his college career in 2011.
Harris joins Ken Green (1982-83), Romie Thomas (1970-71) and Edgar Jones (1976-77) as the only Wolf Pack players with six games of 30 or more points in a season. Green had 11, Thomas eight and Jones seven.
NEVADA TIES SCHOOL RECORD WITH 17 3S VERSUS NEW MEXICO
Nevada tied the school record making 17 3-pointers on 35 attempts in the 96-74 win over New Mexico, on Jan. 25. The Wolf Pack also made 17 3s at Pacific on Nov. 18, 2017 on 34 attempts.
In 11 of the last 15 contests Nevada has made 10 or more 3-pointers. On the season 19 times the Wolf Pack has made 10 or more 3s in a game.
Nationally the Pack is eighth with 290 made 3s and 11th making 38.2 percent of its 3-pointers. Nevada's 759 attempted 3s ranks 29th and 10 made per game is 10th. The Pack is also doing it defensively ranking 17th in field goal percentage defense in NCAA I at 29.1 percent.
In the MW Nevada leads in 3-pointers per game, 3s made and 3-point percentage.
ALFORD WINS 600TH GAME AS PACK DOWNS NEW MEXICO 96-74
First-year Nevada head coach
Steve Alford won his 600th career game when the Wolf Pack defeated New Mexico 96-74 on Jan. 25. Alford coached at UNM for six seasons and won 155 games during his time with the Lobos. Alford is 606-308 (66.3%) in his 29th season.
Alford is the 16th active NCAA I head coach with 600 career wins. He earned 78 victories at Manchester, 78 at Missouri State, 152 during his time at Iowa, 155 coaching at New Mexico and 124 at UCLA.
Alford's father Sam coached 29 seasons of high school basketball posting a record of 452-288. The two have combined for 1,058 victories. Steve played for his father at New Castle Chrysler High School in Indiana. He played for legendary coach Bob Knight at Indiana and helped the Hoosiers to the 1987 NCAA Championship. Knight posted a record of 902-371 in 42 seasons.
DREW MAKING MARK IN NEVADA RECORD BOOK
Senior
Lindsey Drew has played 128 games at Nevada and started 122. The 122 starts is third at Nevada with Dario Hunt (2009-12) second with 127. Drew has played in 93 wins during his time which fourth at Nevada with Lyndale Burleson (2005-09). Kyle Shiloh (2003-07) is third with 98. His 3,880 minutes played is third at Nevada.
Drew's 165 steals is fifth in Wolf Pack history with Deonte Burton (2010-14) fourth with 169. His 505 assists is third with Deonte Burton (2010-14) second with 515.
He is the first player at Nevada with 900 points, 600 rebounds and 500 assists. Currently he sits at 950 points, 644 rebounds and 505 assists.
JOHNSON, ZOUZOUA AND HARRIS 1,000 POINT SCORERS
Jazz Johnson scored his 1500th point in the win at New Mexico,
Nisré Zouzoua his 1300th at UNLV and
Jalen Harris notched his 1000th in the victory at UNLV.
Johnson has 1,535 points in 125 games for a career average of 12.3 points per game. He scored 740 of the points in two seasons at Portland.
Zouzua has netted 1,337 points in 112 games giving him a career average of 11.9 points per game. At Bryant he scored 1,025 of those points in two seasons.
Harris has 1,070 in 64 games for a career average of 16.2 points per game.
HARRIS LEADING THE PACK
Junior
Jalen Harris has scored in double figures in the last 25 games which includes six games of 30 or more points at Air Force (31), at Utah State (31), at Colorado State (31), at Boise State (30), home versus Air Force (38) and SJSU (32). The 38 points is his career high and the high in the Mountain West this season. He made a career-best six 3s on eight attempts in the AF home win.
He is the only player in the MW to have six games of 30 or more points this season. The six games is the most by a MW player since Josh Adams had nine and Elijah Brown six in the 2015-16 season.

Harris has delivered in the clutch scoring the final three points at UNLV in the Pack's 82-79 victory. His layup with just under 9 seconds to play against Wyoming gave the Pack the 68-67 victory. At CSU his 3-pointer with 5.3 seconds to play put the Pack up 91-90 before the Rams won on a last second shot. In the win over Fresno State his bucket with 30 seconds to play put the Pack up 78-73 on the way to the 78-76 victory.
Harris tops the team in scoring (21.7 ppg) and is second in rebounding (6.4 rpg) and assists (3.9 apg). The 21.7 points per game leads the Mountain West and 25.4 in MW play is also first. The assist numbers rank seventh in the MW and the rebounds ninth.
In last eight games and 17 of the last 24 games he has scored 20 or more points including the six 30-point games. In the win over Santa Clara he posted his first career double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. His game-high eight assists left him two shy of a triple double. At UNLV he posted his second double-double with game highs of 29 points, 14 rebounds and five assists. The 14 rebounds is the high for a Pack player this season.
In 15 games he posted game highs in points, 11 times he posted a game-high in assists and six times a game-high in rebounds.
From the field he is shooting 45.4 percent, 36.6 percent from behind the arc and 82.5 percent at the free throw line to rank fourth in the conference.
Harris injured his foot in the season opener with Utah playing just 8 minutes and missed the LMU game. He returned to the lineup against UT Arlington and scored a game-high 24 points in the victory.
JOHNSON CONTINUES TO KNOCK DOWN THE 3S
Pack senior
Jazz Johnson has not missed a beat since returning from a shoulder injury that forced him to miss two games. Since his return Johnson is averaging 15.5 points and scored in double figures in all five games. In his return to the lineup against San José State he scored 13 points, had 19 at UNLV, 15 at New Mexico, 15 vs. Fresno State and 13 at Wyoming. The two games missed were at Boise State and home with Air Force.
Johnson ranks second on the team and is eighth in the MW scoring 16 points per game.
Johnson's 24 games scoring in double figures is second on the team. He scored a career-high 34 points in the Pack's home win over Boise State. Johnson made a career-best eight 3-pointers on 12 attempts. The eight made 3s and 13 made field goals all rank second in the MW this season while the 34 points is fourth.
The eight made 3s is tied for the third most in a game at Nevada. He also tied for game honors with a career-high seven rebounds.
Johnson scored his 1,500th career point at New Mexico with 740 of the points coming in two seasons at Portland. Currently has 1,535 points in 125 games
He has made a 3-pointer in each game this season and three or more in 19 contests.
Johnson has been knocking down the 3-pointers at a high rate this season having made 85-of-203. The 85 made 3s is 16th nationally, 3.2 per game is 11th, and 41.9 3-point percentage is 15th. He tops the MW in 3-pointers per game and 3-point percentage while ranking second in 3s made.
Five times he has scored 20 or more points; 20 vs. LMU, 26 vs. USC, 25 vs. BGSU, 20 vs. SCU and the 34 vs. BSU. In the USC, BGSU, SCU and BSU games the point totals were game highs.
He is shooting 82.1 percent at the free throw line.
At the Paradise Jam he made 60 percent of his 3-pointers connecting on 15-of-25 in three games. In the title game he made 7-of-10.
DREW DOING IT ALL IN FINAL SEASON AT NEVADA
The versatile
Lindsey Drew is doing it once again in his fifth and final season at Nevada. Drew missed all last year after rupturing his right achilles tendon at Boise State on Feb. 14, 2018. Drew is the first 900 point, 600 rebound and 500 assists player in school history.
Currently he has 950 points, 644 rebounds and 505 assists. He also has 165 steals.
The do everything guard returned with a flair scoring a career-high 30 points in his senior debut against Utah. He also grabbed six rebounds and dished out eight assists. In the next game he scored 24 points, had nine rebounds and five assists in a win over Loyola Marymount. Both point totals were game highs.
In 16 games he has scored in double figures which is the most double figure scoring games for him in a season, passing the 10 he had his junior year before the injury. He leads the team in assists (4.2 apg) and rebounding (6.7 rpg). From the field he is shooting 47.2 percent. In total he is ranked in seven categories in the conference.
Twice he has posted double-doubles with 10 points and 10 rebounds in the Paradise Jam Championship game win over Bowling Green. Against TSU he scored 18 points and had 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the season and fourth of his career.
In the win at UNLV he grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds.
In nine games he posted highs in assists; vs. Utah (8), LMU (7), UTA (4), at Air Force (6), vs. CSU (6), vs. BSU (9), at SJSU (5), vs. the AFA (4) and vs. SJSU (7).
The nine assists in the BSU game tied his career high and is the high for a Nevada player this season. In another six games he posted game highs in rebounds; LMU (9), vs. Bowling Green (10), at Air Force (8), TSU (10) at BSU (10) and vs. SJSU (8).
ZOUZOUA DELIVERING IN HIS SENIOR SEASON
Senior
Nisré Zouzoua has provided a spark off the bench this season and in the New Mexico home win led the Pack in scoring for the first time in his career with 20 points. Zouzoua knocked down 6-of-7 shots from behind the arc vs. UNM. The 20 points and six made 3s are both highs for him during his time at Nevada. At Colorado State he was a perfect 5-of-5 from behind the arc making 11-of-12 in the two-game stretch.
In the win over Fresno State he scored 19 points, one-point off his Pack career high. Zouzoua connected of 7-of-9 field goals, 5-of-7 from behind the arc.
In the last 10 games is averaging 13.7 points, is shooting 48.4 (43-of-93) percent from the field and 47.4 (27-of-57) from behind the arc Zousoua has scored in double figures in four of the last five games and seven of the last nine contests. Three times he has put together three-game scoring streaks with the most recent one being 15 vs. Air Force, 15 vs. SJSU and 12 at UNLV. His 9.9 points per game this season ranks fourth on the squad.
Zouzoua started the game at Boise State and the home game with Air Force for the injured
Jazz Johnson. On the season he has made four starts.
In 15 games this season he has scored in double figures.
He scored nine points in each of the first two games of the season which were then Nevada career highs. Against UT Arlington he nearly doubled that netting 16 points, making 6-of-8 shots from the field of which 3-of-5 were from behind the arc.
At the Paradise Jam he averaged 11 points per game. He scored 11 points in the win over Fordham and 15 in the victory against Valparaiso.
NEVADA TIED FOR SECOND IN MW STANDINGS
Nevada is tied for second place in the Mountain West standings with Utah State at 12-5 with one game remaining on the conference schedule.
San Diego State leads the conference with a 16-1 record. UNLV is fourth at 11-6 followed by Boise State with an 11-7 conference record and Colorado State at 10-7.
New Mexico (6-11), Fresno State (6-11), Air Force (5-12), SJSU (3-14) and Wyoming (2-15) are in spots seven through 11.

The Wolf Pack's overall strength of schedule is 114th and non-conference strength of schedule is 56th. The Pack's basketball power index is 77 and kenpom.com ranking is 76.
HARRIS NAMED FEB. 9 OSCAR ROBERTSON NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK AND MW PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Junior
Jalen Harris was named the Feb. 9 Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week and Feb. 10 Mountain West Player of the Week after helping the Pack to a pair of wins. He is the first Nevada player to garner the Oscar Robertson Nationally Player of the Week honor and was named the MW Player of the Week for the third time this season.
As the Mountain West Conference Player of the Week, Harris was nominated for the weekly award, which was chosen by a representative of the USBWA board of directors from a list of Division I conference players of the week. The USBWA has named Oscar Robertson National Players of the Week since the 2009-10 season.
Harris, a 6-5 junior from Duncanville Texas, averaged averaged 35.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists while playing 36.5 minutes per game in a pair of conference wins over Air Force and San Jose State.
Harris scored a career-high 38 points in the 88-54 win over the Falcons, after sinking a career-high six three-pointers. He added six rebounds and had four assists in the game. Against SJSU, he scored 32 points in the 95-77 win to go with five rebounds and three assists.
Harris scored 30 points in four straight games and his 38-point outburst was a career high. In the two games last week, he shot 56.8 percent from the field (25-of-44), 61.1 percent (11-of-18) from behind the arc and was 9-for-9 at the free throw line.

Jalen Harris had 23 points as Nevada edged past Wyoming 73-68 on Tuesday night.
Jazz Johnson had 13 points for Nevada (19-10, 12-5 Mountain West Conference), which earned its sixth consecutive victory.
Lindsey Drew added seven rebounds.
Robby Robinson had eight rebounds.
Jake Hendricks tied a career high with 27 points for the Cowboys (7-22, 2-15). Hunter Maldonado added 14 points. Trevon Taylor had 11 points and seven rebounds.
The Wolf Pack improve to 2-0 against the Cowboys for the season. Nevada defeated Wyoming 68-67 on Jan. 14. Nevada finishes out the regular season against San Diego State at home on Saturday. Wyoming finishes out the regular season against Fresno State on the road on Saturday.
