SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The University of Nevada women's tennis team fell to 2-2 on the season falling 4-0 to Cal Poly who improved to 3-0 on the season.  The match was played at the Degheri Tennis Center at Santa Clara University.  The Wolf Pack plays Santa Clara (0-1) on Sunday at 10 a.m.

The Mustangs won the No. 1 and 2 doubles matches by scores of 6-2 to earn the first point of the day.  Emily Monaghan and Dominique Stone defeated Nevada's Liza Mintusova and Arina Gumerova in the first completed match of the day on court 1.  The Pack's No. 2 team of Anastasia Luneva and Anastaysha Gorbacheva lost to Delanie Dunkle and Melissa LaMette as Cal Poly led 1-0.

Monaghan scored a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Ksenia Shikanova on court 2 to push the advantage to 2-0.  Dunkel defeated Nevada sophomore Roos van Reek 6-2, 6-2 and Kim Bhunu clinched the match for Cal Poly with a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Carla Del Barrio to make the final score 4-0.
