SAN DIEGO – The University of Nevada women's tennis team is 1-1 on the season after dropping a 4-0 decision at No. 37 San Diego on Friday. The Wolf Pack concludes its three-match road trip to begin the spring season at Point Loma on Saturday at 11 a.m.

The Toreros won all three doubles matches to earn the first point of the day.  Roos van Reek and  Liza Mintusova fell 6-3 on court 1.  On court 2 Arina Gumerova and  Anastasia Luneva also dropped their match 6-3.  In the No. 3 doubles Selina Turulja and Anastaysha Gorbacheva were shutout 6-0. 

In the three completed singles matches San Diego won all three in straight sets.  Carla Del Barrio lost the first completed match 6-0, 6-1 on court 6.  Gumerova lost 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles to give USD a 3-0 advantage. Elizabeth Goldsmith clinched the victory for USD with a 6-4, 6-2 victory on court 2 over the Pack's Liza Mintusova.
