RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada (8-9) women's tennis team dropped a 4-2 non-conference match at UC Davis (8-12) on Friday afternoon at the Marya Welch Tennis Center.  The loss dropped the Wolf Pack to 8-9 on the season while the Aggies improved to 8-12.
 
Nevada continues its three-match road trip at Stanislaus State (10-6) on Saturday at noon.
 
The Pack secured the doubles point with a 7-6 (7-1) victory by Adriana Gergelyova and Roos Van reek on court 2.  Anastaysha Gorbacheva and Marta Ruedas won 6-4 at No. 1 doubles in the first completed match of the day. 
 
UCD won four of the five complete singles matches to win 4-2.  Nevada's Selina Turulja put the Pack up 2-0 with a dominating 6-0, 6-0 victory at No 5 singles. 
 
The Aggies then went on run winning the next four completed singles match to secure the 4-2 victory.  Sara Tsukamoto clinched the win with a three set 1-6, 6-4, 6-3 victory over Nevada's Van reek on court 2.
