RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada (8-8, 0-2 MW) women's tennis team will play three matches this weekend in the final regular season road trip. The Wolf Pack starts with a trip to UC Davis (7-12) on Friday at 2 p.m. then continues on to face Stanislaus State (10-6) Saturday at noon. The weekend concludes with a 2 p.m. Mountain West match at Fresno State (8-10, 0-2 MW) on Sunday.
Adriana Gerglyova (7-6), Roos Van reek (7-5),
Selina Turulja (7-4) lead the team with seven singles wins each in the spring. Gerglyova has seen the majority of her time on court 1 lately but has also played No. 2 and 3 singles. Van reek is 4-1 on court 4 but has seen action at No. 2 and 3 singles. Turulja is 5-2 at No. 5 singles and has played at No. 3 and 4 singles.
Maria Tatarnikova (6-5) has six wins playing at spots four through six.
Anastaysha Gorbacheva is 4-2 at No. 6 singles.
Tatarnikova and Turuljia are 11-3 in doubles play with 10 of those victories coming on court 3. Gergelyova and Van reek have played mostly at No. 2 doubles going 8-3 and have one win on court 1 for a combined record of 9-3. Gorbacheva and
Marta Ruedas have seen the most time at No. 1 doubles posting a 4-5 record. Head coach
Guillaume Tonelli has used nine different doubles combinations in the spring that have a combined record of 27-16.
