Reno, Nev. – Junior Dillan Shrum knocked in a season-high four RBI on Tuesday afternoon as Nevada (13-10) defeated the University of San Francisco (13-11) at Don Weir Field at Peccole Park 7-3. The Wolf Pack's top four batters in the lineup each recorded multiple hits on the day.

In his fourth start of the season, left-handed pitcher Dalton Gomez (1-1) earned his first win of the year. Nevada used three pitchers on the day, as Jordan Jackson and Ben Purcell tossed the final three innings and allowed no runs.

Aside from Shrum's big day, sophomore Joshua Zamora homered in his second-consecutive game to tie the team high with the junior at five. Shrum's career-high is seven, while Zamora hit nine in his freshman season.

Nevada began the scoring in the third inning, when three different Pack players recorded an RBI. Zamora got it going with a solo shot out to left, and was followed by an RBI-double by Shrum and an RBI-single by freshman Nick Seamons.

Shrum's big day continued the following inning when he blasted a bases-clearing triple to give Nevada a 6-0 lead. The Pack's last run scored came in the fifth, as sophomore Tyler Bosetti launched a ball to score Matt Clayton from third on a sacrifice fly.

The Dons answered with a three-run sixth inning on two singles and a groundout to cut Nevada's lead to 7-3. It would be the last runs scored by either team on the afternoon.

The Pack pitching staff combined for five strikeouts on the day, with four coming from Gomez. Nevada only issued one walk against the Dons.
