AWARDS SEASON
One week after earning a selection to the Google Cloud Academic All-District second team for District VIII, senior
Jade Redmon picked up another award as she was named the Mountain West Player of the Week. Redmon averaged 19.0 points per game last week to help the Pack go undefeated, which included an upset win at Fresno State. She extended her streak of scoring in double figures to 22 games, which is every game she has played in this year. She is the only player in the conference to score in double figures in every game they've played in. She has her average up to 15.0 points per game, which leads the team and ranks fifth in the league.
ROOKIE PROWESS
Freshman
Imani Lacy has been one of the most productive rookies on the team this season, and she proved her worth in the Pack's game at New Mexico. Against the Lobos, Lacy tallied a career-high 20 points to lead the Wolf Pack. She became just the second freshman to score 20 points in a single game since 2008. Lacy ranks fourth on the team, and leads all rookies, averaging 7.1 points per game and has added nine blocks on the year. In the last four games though, Lacy is averaging double figures at 10.3 points per game.
TIP TIP TERAE
Senior
Terae Briggs is putting together a remarkable career season for the Pack. She was named the Mountain West Player of the Week for the first time in her career after scoring a career-high 24 points in the team's win over Hawai'i but then followed that up with setting a new career high of 30 points at Utah State. Briggs picked up her ninth double-double of the season in the win over SDSU with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Her nine double-doubles are third-most in the conference. Briggs currently ranks seventh in the league in scoring, fifth in rebounding, fifth in field goal percentage, fourth in defensive rebounds and is sixth in offensive rebounds.
