RENO, Nev. – Nevada women's basketball head coach
Amanda Levens has signed local product Kenna Holt to a National Letter of Intent.
"We are excited to have Kenna join our program," said Levens. "She is extremely competitive and can impact the game on both sides of the ball. We are proud to keep her home in Reno for her college career!"
Holt is a 5-8 guard from Reno and will graduate from Bishop Manogue Catholic High School in the spring. She will be a four-time letterwinner in basketball at the end of this season and has helped lead the Miners to some success over the years. Entering her senior season, Holt has scored over 900 points in 61 games played at the varsity level. She has connected on 41 percent of her shots from the field, has made 140 3-pointers and dished out 170 assists in her three seasons. She is a two-time Sierra League Player of the Year and was also named second team all-state by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and second team All-USA Nevada by USA Today following her junior year.
Holt also has some experience playing AAU basketball as she was a member of the Cal Stars 16u EYBL and Cal Stars 17u EYBL teams.
Holt will join the Wolf Pack next year for the 2020-21 season.
