Box Score LAS VEGAS – Junior Anastaysha Gorbacheva advanced to the semifinals of the flight two singles on Friday at the ITA Mountain Regional being played at the Fertitta Tennis Complex in Las Vegas.  The Wolf Pack's doubles team of Kesnia Shikanova and Selina Turulja are still alive in the consolation doubles.
 
In the quarterfinals Gorbacheva defeated BYU's Leah Heimuli in three sets.  Gorbacheva dropped the first set 7-5 but rallied to take the final two sets 6-4, 6-3 to advance to Saturday's semifinals.
 
Shikanova and  Turulja scored a 8-2 victory over the Southern Utah team of Paula Tascon and Alexandrea Ngo to advance in consolation doubles.  Gorbacheva and Del Barrio fell 8-7 to a team from Air Force.
 
In flight one consolation play Liza Mintusova lost 4-6, 6-1, 1-0 (11-9) to Nadeen Lieberman of Air Force.  Shikanova lost in three sets to Ana Fernandez of Wyoming 4-6, 6-2 and 1-0 (10-8).  Turulja fell 6-1, 6-2 Mimi Bland from Northern Arizona in flight two consolation.
 
Arina Gumerova (6-0, 6-2) and Del Barrio (6-3, 6-3) won added matches on Friday.
