LAS VEGAS – Junior Anastaysha Gorbacheva advanced to the quarterfinals of flight two on Thursday at the ITA Mountain Regional being played at the Fertitta Tennis Complex in Las Vegas.  The Wolf Pack's doubles team of Roos Van Reek and Liza Mintusova moved into the round of 16.  The event continues through Sunday.
 
Gorbacheva started her day with a dominating 6-1, 6-0 victory over Morgan Hall of BYU to advance to the round of 16.  She ended Thursday with a 6-2, 7-5 win over UNLV's Samantha Li to earn a spot in the quarterfinals.
 
In the doubles round of 32 Van Reek and Mintusova downed the UNLV team of Sara Alajbegovic and Leslie Fujitani 8-2 to move into the round of 16.
 
Selina Turulja dropped her flight two round of 32 singles match in three sets to BYU's Emma Jewel 0-6, 7-5 and 6-2.
 
Nevada's doubles team of Arina Gumerova and Anastasia Luneva fell in the round of 32 by a score of 8-3 to TJ Fumagelli and Meridith Jones of Air Force.
 
In consolation doubles action Turulja and Kesenia Shikanova won 8-6 over the team from Northern Colorado.  Carla Del Barrio and Gorbacheva scored an 8-6 victory the doubles squad from UTEP.
