Hannah Roberts took over in goal for the Pack in the first half, playing 64 minutes and recording four saves in her collegiate debut.
Nevada will host its senior night on Friday, Oct. 25 against Colorado State with kickoff slated for 6:30 p.m. Its final MW home match of the regular season will be that Sunday, Oct. 27 against Wyoming.
Both of the Spartans' goals came in the first half, one off of a corner kick and another off a free kick. The Wolf Pack's lone shot in the first 45 minutes of play came from
Payton Lieb, who pushed her shot just wide of the goal in the sixth minute of action.
Nevada outplayed the Spartans in the second half, outshooting them 4-2 and 6-2 on corner kicks. SJSU did not record a shot on goal in the final 45 minutes of action.
Gabby Brown led Nevada with two shots, while Lieb,
Casey Crawford and
Hannah Souza each recorded one on the afternoon as well.
