DENVER – The University of Nevada men's tennis team struggled on the first day at the ITA Mountain Regional played at the Denver Tennis Park on Wednesday. The doubles action begins for the Wolf Pack on Thursday.
Sophomore
Gvidas Motuzas won his first match of the day 6-4, 6-3 over New Mexico's Jake Trondson in the round of 128. In the round of 64 Motuzas fell 7-5, 6-4 to Utah's Russell Benkiam.
In the round of 128
Delmas N'Tcha lost 6-2, 6-4 to Arvid Hjalte of Utah State.
Benjamin Campi,
Daniel Dudockin, and
Julien Evrard all dropped their opening matches in the round of 64.
In addition to the doubles competition the singles consolation will be contested on Thursday.
