MEZA, Ariz. - Racing in day two of the Arena Pro Series event in Mesa, Ariz. Friday night, freshmen Donna dePolo and juniors Rebecca Murray, Caitlyn Richardson and Jamie Reynolds all recorded finals finishes in their respective races.
dePolo finished third in the C final of the 100 meter breaststroke, clocking a time of 1:14.35. She fell just 1.57 seconds short of the win. She was joined in the same event by Reynolds swimming the D final. The junior snagged eighth in the D final with a finish of 1:17.05.
Racing in the same D final of the 100 meter freestyle, Murray and Richardson placed fifth and sixth, respectively. Murray finished just a second out of first with a time of 58.56, while Richardson touched with a time of 58.59.
Also swimming was freshman Caitlyn McHugh in the 800 meter freestyle. She came in 14th in the timed final, clocking in at 9:28.14.
Day three of the action gets underway Saturday morning at 9 a.m. as action continues from Arizona.
