FLAGGSTAFF, Ariz.  – The Nevada diving squad concluded the third and final day of the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships on Wednesday with senior Sharae Zheng qualifying for the platform dive at the NCAA Championships. In total, the Wolf Pack will have Zheng as well as junior Sio I Lei represent Nevada at the championships.
 
After winning the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard the first two days, Zheng placed sixth in the platform dive with a score of 509.20. She began the day finishing in sixth in the prelims after scoring 255.35 points. Zheng was joined in the finals by Lei, who finished in 11^th place with a score of 468.15.

Also competing for Nevada in the platform dive was Toma Shmitova who scored 189.50 points and finished 29^th in the prelims. Up next for the Pack is the NCAA Championships which takes place March 14-17 in Columbus, Ohio. Nevada will have Zheng compete in all three diving events, while Lei will participate in the 1-meter springboard.
